UHF filled its second month of weekly club nights with more bang for your clubbing buck than any other night in Seattle. In fact, the bang-to-buck ratio was actually infinite, since the night was completely free! When the youngest member of the crew finally turned 21 and the club night began, we knew it would go off, but no one expected the place to pack so quickly! Most weeks, the Deep Down Lounge was comfortably filled with both friends and strangers alike, all there to enjoy the varied flavors of house, drum 'n' bass, and garage that UHF was there to serve up. It's a good thing there were five Fridays in January, otherwise how would we have packed in such great guests as Rama, Cloud 9, Mike Stevens, and the Jack 'n' Jill duo of Gilby and Lisa Nelson? With only four Fridays in Feb, we'll just have to pack the love in that much harder. From the reviews at nwtekno.org: "ow THIS is what I've been missing for a while now. Fanfreakintastic HoUsE music! Lovely, drama-free, genuine people. Beautiful and vibe-inducing decor, I didn't know the Deep Down could be so romantic!" livluv24 From the reviews at 206 Underground: "Texel has had nothing but positive things to say about you guys so I figured I had to stop in while I was out in Seattle. I really enjoyed what Huggie brought in his bag! He even had my cousin and his friend (who aren't too into EDM) movin to his tunes! Solid sound too!" Tha Specialist "Last night was the shizzzz. It felt like oldschool Naf+Sundazed, transformed and reborn, yet retaining it's style and vibe, whambamalakazam... there you have "Four Star Fridays"... Oh yeah, there was alcohol there too. Great music, awesome people, and my favorite bar. Goooooooood times." shawna
